SkyComm's mission is to unlock the clean energy potential of strategic airport infrastructure — generating returns from land that others leave idle, at grid nodes where that energy is needed most.
The UK has consented to significant airport infrastructure that will take years to reach full operational capacity. In the interim, those sites hold hundreds of acres of hardstanding and open land — connected to the grid, clear of planning constraint, and positioned at some of the most strategically significant energy nodes in the country.
SkyComm exists to activate that potential. By deploying solar generation, battery storage and virtual power plant infrastructure across airport land from day one, we generate revenue and grid value throughout the development lifecycle — not just when cargo operations reach scale.
LondonX is the proof of concept. An 808-acre site with DCO consent, positioned at a critical East Kent grid node surrounded by 4.1 TWh per year of offshore wind and utility solar generation, with a 300MW VPP opportunity and a seaport three miles away. The infrastructure is already there. The opportunity is to make it work harder.

Three convictions that shape every SkyComm programme — from site selection through to operational delivery and exit.
Clean energy generation is not a secondary benefit of airport development — it is the primary revenue engine from day one. Every SkyComm programme is structured so that solar, battery storage and VPP operations generate returns throughout the development lifecycle, not just when cargo throughput reaches scale.
Planning consent is the most significant risk in large-scale infrastructure development. LondonX holds the UK Government's first airport Development Consent Order — a hard-won advantage that competing programmes do not have and cannot easily replicate. We build on consented ground.
The most durable infrastructure returns come from assets that compound in value. SkyComm's position within the S.E.E. Comm Group — alongside SolisComm, BlueComm and HighComm — creates a multi-modal clean energy platform where each division strengthens the others, sharing pipeline, overhead and investor relationships.
Four operational commitments that translate our mission from statement to action — applied to every programme we develop.
Every SkyComm programme is structured to generate revenue before cargo operations reach scale — through solar generation, battery storage income and VPP participation. Investors are not waiting for a single revenue stream to mature.
We do not develop sites where planning consent is uncertain. Every programme in the SkyComm pipeline has established or advanced consent status — eliminating the risk that has stalled competing airport infrastructure investment for years.
Investors in SkyComm programmes receive regular reporting across energy generation performance, grid revenue, cargo throughput milestones and development progress — with independent operational oversight throughout.
SkyComm programmes are built to operate for decades, not to be flipped on completion. Our approach to site development, community engagement and grid integration reflects the long-term nature of the assets we are building.
